Safety
Safety is our primary concern. With that in mind, Awesome Bouncy Castles (hereafter referred to as ABC), reserves the right to cancel any reservation that, in the opinion of the ABC representative, deems a danger or jeopardises safety in any way.
Payment Policy
All rentals require a non-refundable $50.00 (fifty dollar) deposit and must be received within 7 (seven) days of booking. Full payment of all items required is to be paid on delivery by cash or cheque.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations, other than weather-related as described in the weather policy, must be made at least 3 (three) days prior to your event, or be subject to forfeiture of the reservation bond. If this is met, bonds may be transferred to another date in the future at the discretion of ABC.
Delivery Policy
Bookings in the Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa and Te Puke areas are free. There may be a small charge outside these locations which will be discussed before any payments.
Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, you will be given the option to cancel 2 (two) hours prior to the event and your bond can either be transferable to another date in the future or refunded in full. This applies to all bookings. We reserve the right to cancel bookings concerning the following conditions; heavy rain, snow, high wind and muddy conditions. Rentals must be re-booked within 6 (six) months of the original booking.
If you choose for us to come, and we are unable to set up due to bad weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, mud), you will forfeit your bond. Once any equipment is set up, the full rental price applies.
Responsibilities
The hirer hereby accepts the responsibility for loss of or damage to property and injury to any person/s resulting from the use of or operation of the equipment, and hereby indemnifies ABC against any claims that may be made against it by any person.
The hirer hereby accepts full responsibility for the replacement costs in the event of theft of or damage to the equipment between time of drop off and pick up by ABC.
The hirer accepts responsibility for the use of the equipment, ensuring:
- No child plays near the fan or on the equipment with shoes, sharp objects, liquids or food.
- The equipment is operated by, and under the strict supervision of, a responsible adult.
- No children over the age of 12 (twelve) are to play on the equipment.
- No pets are allowed on the equipment.
- The fan is not to be left unattended in the rain, or operated in high wind conditions, and the hirer shall ensure these terms are complied with, whether or not they are the user or operator of the equipment.
- Under no circumstances is silly string to be used within or on the castles. Beware of face paint as it stains the castle. If you use face paint, please wipe the castle clean prior to pick up.
- Do not under any circumstances get the equipment wet.
The hirer acknowledges that ABC has offered the equipment in proper working order fit for use as intended by the hirer as from the time of drop off of the equipment.
Full payment is required upon delivery of castle(s) or bubble machine.
